The operation
A roster deep enough to match captain to trip
The crew page names ten captains: Evan, the owner and lead captain, Joey Nadotti on shelling and dolphin trips, Jamie, a Florida Coastal Master Naturalist, Paul O’Neill out of Naples and Paul Stancati out of Marco, David Grunes, Kerrick, who has worked this coast since 2002, Shawn Palmer, Jonallen Velazquez and Lauren Malinowski, who is both a naturalist and a wildlife rehabilitator. Three first mates, Cristina, Taylor and Veronica, are named too, two of them Master Naturalists.
Boats run from a center console for six through an Avalon family tritoon for about twelve to a tiki boat seating up to twenty-six. Docks are San Marco Marina at 604 E Palm Ave in Goodland and Naples Bay Resort and Marina at 1500 5th Ave S. Charters include life jackets in every size, a cooler with ice and bottled water, shelling gear on request and photos of the day.

Keewaydin Island Shelling and Beach Experience
Keewaydin is an eight-mile barrier island off Naples with no road to it, which is exactly why the shelling holds up. Four hours gets you beach time, dolphins on the run out and a captain who knows which end of the island the tide has been working.
A shared seat is $125, children $90. The private four-hour boat for up to six is $795.
